Nestled in the historic Cactus Hotel in downtown San Angelo, Studio Haven blends timeless architecture with modern editorial charm. The space features checkered marble-style floors, creamy neutral walls, and a mix of vintage and industrial furniture that feels both curated and effortless.

Natural light pours in through tall windows, shifting throughout the day to cast beautiful, cinematic shadows across the room. Thoughtfully placed props — like mismatched stools, folding chairs, and a velvet olive couch — offer endless styling versatility. A custom-built rolling backdrop wall provides a clean contrast for portraits, branding sessions, or creative editorials.

The studio’s signature touch is a polished gold bellhop luggage cart, a nod to the building’s history and a favorite statement prop for shoots. Combined with the building’s grand entrance, vintage lighting fixtures, and the simple greenery of potted plants, the atmosphere feels elevated yet approachable — perfect for photographers, content creators, and small gatherings seeking something truly unique.

Studio Guide

location

The Cactus Haus is located inside the historic Cactus Hotel in downtown San Angelo. You’ll find us on the Main Level, Suite 100, accessible through the parking garage entrance on Twohig Avenue. Follow the hallway to the right after entering — our suite is clearly marked with the Studio Haven logo.
How to get in

A lockbox is mounted on the door. Use the code provided in your confirmation message to retrieve the key. Please return the key to the lockbox immediately after unlocking the door and again once you’ve locked up at the end of your rental.

Speaker: Connect via Bluetooth (connect to Action III) or use the AUX/USB-C cable provided — then jam out! Please keep volume at a respectful level during your session.
Clean-Up & Reset

Please tidy up the space as you go and leave it as you found it.
Return all furniture, props, and equipment to their original spots.
Wipe any surfaces you used.
Remove any large trash or boxes that don’t fit in the provided trash bin.
(A dumpster is located outside, behind the Cactus Hotel parking garage.)

Restrooms

Restrooms are located in the Cactus Lobby on either side of the staircase.
To get there: exit the main studio door, turn right down the hallway, then take a left into the lobby.
